Shari Frink & The Mission

God has always been a part of my life. My mother made my sister Holli and I go to Catholic Church and Sunday School. We were around 7-8 years old. We never wanted to go! I remember when I was 14 and I was joking in a service and making people laugh during a service on Easter Sunday. I went back to the Uncle Bobby's house after the service and started playing hide and go seek. I found one of the players hiding and he slammed the door on me and my hand went through the glass pane window and severed my artery on my left wrist. Blood was shooting out in the thickness of a pencil. During the surgery I was telling the Lord I was sorry for being disobedient in His house. After that, the Lord was made real to me. I spoke to God periodically but still didn't understand His power. 

My daughter Sophia was at school when she as 7 yrs old. A girl named Paige Carfield fell down, and my loving daughter helped her to the nurse's office. They were best buds after that. Which led me to her mom, Missy Carfield, who was also a Pastor. One night we were invited to eat dinner with their family. There was an Ovation acoustic guitar there. I asked if I could play it. After playing Pastor Missy asked if I would be interested in joining the worship team. I said, "NOOO I just play for fun."  She then pursued this heavily and I quickly gave in and joined a practice at Christ Venice Fl, with Amy Wilson Moghina. Mrs. Amy asked if I was going to play on that Sunday and I said, "no I was just checking this out." So, I went to church two week later and Pastor Mike Hudson was playing guitar. After the service and everyone was leaving Mrs. Amy made a B line for me through the Pew and shouted, "WE NEED YOU ON THE WORSHIP TEAM--NOW! I just laughed and said Ok. I was so freaked out you can't imagine. I never listened to ole boring Christian music (ever, eww lol.) As Mrs. Amy was leaving, I asked her where to find this music and she shouted, "the Joy FM"! 

So, the joy FM played on my job for 3 solid days straight, no Sound Garden, Shine Down or anything else besides the Joy. I then started to recognize some of the songs and actually like some of them. The funny part about this is I couldn't stop listening to the Joy Fm after the 3 days. Yup, I fell completely in love with Christen music. This eventually led me to Shari Frink and Trina Koehler --The rest is history!

I will say, knowing the Lord, serving Him, trusting Him and Honoring Him has changed me for the better!

Always remember the Lord has a plan. You might not like it, but you need to respect His word and His decisions. Pray to Him. Go hang out with your Father in his House!! ---He misses you always. No one will ever love you more. I promise.
