With decades of experience in various musical realms, the band has come together with a renewed sense of purpose, seeking to glorify the Lord and spread the life-transforming message of the Gospel through their songs.

The Mission's music is more than just melodies and harmonies; it is a heartfelt expression of their own journeys and testimonies. Inspired by the strong pull of God's Spirit, they aim to lead others toward their own missions in Christ. With each note and lyric, they encourage listeners to discover and embrace their unique gifts and callings, fostering a community where everyone can serve and shine for the Lord.

Shari Frink

(Lead Vocals / Songwriter)

Shari Frink, the lead vocalist, brings a wealth of experience from her roots in pop and Christian contemporary music. Having toured regionally as a solo artist and shared the stage with Christian music icons like Jaci Velasquez, Rebecca St. James, and Mark Schultz, Shari later expanded into mainstream music with bands and projects such as CoverGirl, Coastal Jamz, Fusion by Fire, and Saltwater Worship. Known for her distinctive voice and introspective lyrics, Shari is the band's primary lyricist and songwriter, crafting heartfelt, poetic songs that often have catchy hooks and explore deeper emotional themes. She currently leads worship on Sunday Mornings at Fellowship Church of Englewood in Rotonda West, Florida.

Terynna Koehler

(Vocals/Keys/Synth/Guitar/Percssion/Songwriter)

Terynna Koehler, the chameleon of all things: backup vocals , synth, keys, rhythm guitar, and percussion, is known for her work in the Christian indie and folk music scenes. As a former lead singer of The Light Band and BROKEN, she has built a reputation for her soothing vocal style and introspective lyrics that explore themes of faith, love, and personal growth. Her melodic contributions bring an ethereal layer to the band's sound.

Jim Bonito

(Lead Guitar/Musical Composition)

Jim "Jimmy" Bonito, composer and guitarist, has an extensive background in rock and alternative music, having performed with bands like GREYSCALE and The Crystal Method. In recent years, he transitioned into Christian music, contributing to various worship bands. His compositions are known for their skillful guitar work that blends rock, blues, and punk with classically inspired riffs, creating a dynamic sound that pushes boundaries.

Rich Pieters

(Drums)

Rich Pieters, the heartbeat member of the band, is known for his work as a drummer in the rock and alternative music scenes throughout New York and Florida. A versatile and skilled percussionist, Rich has built a reputation for his tight rhythms, powerful drumming style, and adaptability across genres, including rock, blues, and punk. His contributions to both live performances and studio recordings bring a driving energy to the band's sound.

Christopher Brooks

(Bass)

Christopher "Chris" Brooks is a true “Chris of all trades,” a versatile musician who brings depth and energy whether he’s playing bass, guitar, drums, or anything else you put in his hands. Beyond his musical talent, Christopher is a born-again preacher and passionate youth ministry leader, committed to pouring into the next generation. His life is marked by a powerful testimony of where and how God met him, transforming his path and purpose. Today, he lives with a clear calling—faithfully following wherever God leads, using both his gifts and his story to inspire, uplift, and serve others.
