Shari Frink & The Mission

I was raised in church from 6 yrs old on and LOVED JESUS!  I remember telling my 10 yr old friends at a slumber party about Jesus and they all gave their hearts to Him!  That was in California, where I was raised but then we moved to Texas and I was almost 16.  Missing my old church and friends and then starting high school with new friends was great but I got away from my FIRST LOVE which was Jesus!  Then in my last year of high school, my dad was transferred to Virginia so another new school at another very impressionable time in my life.  I became a prodigal child and was not living for the LORD.  I got married at 18 yrs old to a musician and not a Christian (at the time. ) Needless to say I didn't know to pray for my "Right Man" back then.

GOD is always faithful to those who love HIM though.  He never gave up on me and I did return to a renewed relationship with him in my early 30s and had 2 beautiful daughters and was remarried my now "late" husband.  It was not an easy road but the trials brought me closer to Jesus and my love for Him grew greater and greater!  

I did not play an instrument or write songs back then and my husband had been a musician since he was 9 so he was the "talent" of the house in my mind.  BUT GOD had other ideas!  He gave me a song (in the shower) called "LOYALTY" at the age of 36 yrs old.  I had never played or written a song before, but I was able to show it to two other musicians in our church and they loved it!  Once my late-husband, Tim, heard it, he loved it too and GOD gave me the ability to play it on the piano.  That was many decades ago and over 150 songs God has given me.  About 30 are recorded and we even do a few of them in Shari Frink & the Mission!

What can I say except that GOD can do anything, with anyone, at any time and in any way HE chooses!  PRAISE HIS NAME! 

I have been in 2 other original Christian bands (one in VA and one in Orlando) and wanted to get a female lead singer so I could play and write but not have to sing so much!  GOD answered that prayer when I met SHARI and the rest is what you hear in our music!

GOD IS SO GOOD, SO GOOD, SO GOOD!
